Computer Cryptography (密碼學)

My focus is on designing and analysing algorithms that solve computational problems efficiently. I am currently looking forward to any contribution in any field of techniques from computer science, discrete mathematics, and probability theory in algorithms research. I am very interested in cryptography algorithms, specifically in cryptographic hash functions in network security. My research efforts are guided by the responsibility to build and maintain trust in the computing ecosystem with state-of-the-art systems, controls, and services. My current research in this field contributes the development of algorithms, protocols, and standards for security, privacy, and cryptography to ensure the authenticity and integrity of data that flows between personal computing devices and the cloud, and guarantee the confidentiality of information and communications.

Linguistic Studies (語言學)

My research lies at the intersection of phonemes, morphemes, lexemes, syntax, and context. Along with grammatical, semantical, and pragmatical studies. I am especially interested in analysing and mining useful human insights from enormous amounts of literary studies with associated cultural values to improve linguistic and literacy development. The research aims to study the efficiency of certain languages referred to the linguistic models in social media, official conferences, teenagers' slangs for everyday activities. More recently, I am also involved in research on fairness and accountability in historical and modern linguistic in daily applications.

Textual Criticism (文本批評)

My research aims to study the technique of restoring texts as nearly as possible to their original form for whenever a text is transmitted, variation occurs due to human beings are careless, fallible, and occasionally perverse. Variation can occur in several ways: through mechanical damage or accidental omission; through misunderstanding due to changes in fashions of writing; through ignorance of language or subject matter; through inattention or stupidity; and through deliberate efforts at correction.
